More about Jacob and Mary
Jacob & Mary's three sons established this fund in memory of their parents. Jacob Rittenhouse Fretz (1886-1974) was a very active layman in the Grace Mennonite Church, Lansdale, Pa., as well as a board member of Bluffton (Ohio) College (now University) and a proponent of AMBS. Mary Rickert Fretz (1889-1957) was the first woman to vote in Lansdale, Pa., in the 1919-1921 era when, through the 19th Amendment, women received the right to vote.
