The scholarship gave me the freedom to invest my whole life in the AMBS community, which in turn yielded the best education both in and out of the classroom that I could have asked for. The opportunity to pour myself into classes and community life also provided incredible opportunities to grow in intercultural competence, as I built friendships with fellow students from all inhabited continents. The relationships I formed at AMBS are invaluable to me as a new pastor. – Michelle Curtis, MDiv, 2018, Ambler, Pennsylvania
The scholarship I received to fund my studies at AMBS made it possible to study full-time, which was a requirement of my student visa as a Canadian and would not have been possible otherwise. Easing the financial burden of higher education has also allowed me freedom to pursue new and creative avenues of ministry upon graduation, for which I have been very grateful. - Alicia Buhler, M.Div, 2011, Morden, Manitoba
This scholarship allowed me to finish my seminary studies without taking on debt, a key factor in determining where I chose to receive my seminary education. Not only did this allow me greater freedom to pursue ministry opportunities after seminary but also opened up other study experiences during my time as a student that would normally have conflicted with work responsibilities. This deeply enriched my seminary experience and preparation for ministry after graduation. - Grant Miller, MDiv, 2019, Chicago, Illinois
